About

about

People experience the world, learn, and process information in different ways and that diversity is something to celebrate, not correct. By creating innovative learning environments for neurodivergent individuals, we can shift the focus from limitations to strengths and open up new pathways. My work explores the intersection of neurodiversity, psychology, and art, examining how these fields inform one another and how creative expression can convey psychological ideas. Through this, my projects invite audiences to feel, engage, and reflect.

Continuously deepening my practice in Mindfulness includes emotional regulation and meditation in various Buddhist monasteries in Nepal, Indonesia, Japan, and India. I am integrating these teachings into my art and my work with neurodivergents.

My story

The decision to leave Austria at nineteen was not simple, but it felt necessary. Over the past fifteen years, I have lived in places such as Guatemala, Australia, Costa Rica, Japan, Mexico, Italy, and Spain, learning that each environment asks something different of you. I draw from this reservoir of daily details and routines, four languages, textures, colors, rituals, and traditions.

I studied Psychology at the Sigmund Freud University of Vienna, and my lived experience as a neurodivergent individual with dyslexia has profoundly shaped my perspective as both an artist and educator. Through art installations and the design of creative tools, I aim to raise awareness around neurodiversity, informed by my studies in Learning Coaching at the Dr. Rampitsch Institute in Vienna and ADHD at the NSPC Middelsex University of London.

neurodiversity

My background in psychology and my own experience being dyslexic have formed both my personal art and the way I work. It revealed the limits of systems built around conformity and inspired me to reimagine how we teach, learn, and create.

This vision led me to found Shantikid.com, a platform dedicated to mindfulness, neurodiversity, and creative exploration. Each summer, I lead immersive workshops where children enter carefully designed thematic environments that blend play-based learning, art installations, and meditation. These spaces invite them to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover curiosity as a joyful practice.

Through all of this, I continue to return to the artistic dimension of my work - exploring how visual art, storytelling, and sensory experience can cultivate empathy and broaden our understanding of neurodiverse perspectives.
